Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole (2010) adalah film animasi yang sangat bagus, bercerita tentang kehidupan burung hantu (owl) dan diangkat dari novel serial berjudul Guardians of Ga’Hoole karangan Kathryn Lasky yang saat ini sudah terbit sampai buku ke 15.  Nah, film pertama ini merupakan gabungan dari 3 seri buku (The Capture, The Journey, and The Rescue).

Film ini sebagian besar mengikuti petualangan Soren, sebuah Barn Owl muda  yang tinggal di sebuah sarang dengan orangtua dan saudaranya Kludd dan Eglantine di sebuah kerajaan yang disebut hutan Tyto, didorong keluar dari sarang oleh Kludd. Soren kemudian ditemukan dan menyambar oleh patroli dari burung hantu jahat dari St Aegolius Akademi yatim piatu Burung hantu, yang tujuannya adalah untuk mendapatkan kekuasaan dengan partikel kecil dikenal sebagai bintik-bintik dan kontrol atas semua kerajaan burung hantu di dunia.

Mount Merapi, is an active stratovolcano located on the border between Central Java and Yogyakarta, Indonesia. It is the most active volcano in Indonesia and has erupted regularly since 1548. It is very close to the city of Yogyakarta, and thousands of people live on the flanks of the volcano.

The name Merapi could be loosely translated as ‘Mountain of Fire’ from the Javanese combined words; Meru means “mountain” and api means “fire”. Smoke can be seen emerging from the mountaintop every day, and several eruptions have caused fatalities.

Mount Merapi volcano has erupted again, with greater force than last week’s eruptions in which 80 people died (detik.com). Lava and burning rocks as well as hot ash were shooting from its crater for several hours. An estimated thousands of people have been evacuated from the area since Mount Merapi first erupted there was no immediate word on casualties. Officials have expanded the exclusion zone from 10km to 15km and 20km.

Sawarna means one color. A hidden village in distrik Bayah, Lebak, near Pelabuhan Ratu, West Java. Natural beauty of this village is quity amazing. The village is often visited by foreign tourists.

Potential tourist objects that are contained in the Village Sawarna divided into two kinds, first is beautiful beach with its white sandy and beautiful grassland alongside the beach. It is so unique that I cannot see it in other beaches I’ve been in. The sky is so bright with group of clouds, it is a perfect place to relax and enjoy . There are some places to visit in Sawarna, Tanjung Layar is the most popular one. The best time to visit it is afternoon, while waiting for the sunset. It is formed by two big black rocks standing on the beach, those two look like a ship sailing the ocean, that’s why they call it with ‘Layar’. Tanjung Layar is around 30 minutes on walk from our home stay . Legun Pari is popular too because of its quiet water surface. The safest place to swim is here. Legun Pari is bit far from home stay . Ciantir beach is also popular because of its long beach line.

The second is the natural attractions of the cave .There are several caves located in this village area, but only 1 cave most popular and which allowed residents to enter called Gua Lalay. Lalay word comes from Sundanese meaning kelelawar or bat. This cave is full of rocks that are still natural relief, especially stalactite on top of cave and thousands of bats. Shallow river flowing along the cave, so the soil becomes soft and moist. The length of the Lalay cave is quite big and we need around 30 minutes to reach the end of the tunnel. It’s slippery inside that you may fall down with your ass dirty full of dirt. Overall, Gua Lalay explore is interesting as it gives another option of experience that I never get before.

We stayed at Homestay Batara which is the big house across the street. The rooms there are upstairs, have great view because Batara homestay has a birds farm, many swallow birds flying arround us.

Yang namanya Kereta Api Eksekutip itu ada aja deh kendala servicenya menurutku, dari mulai AC centralnya yang terlampau dingin, pengharum ruangan yang menyengat, WC yang unmanusiable dan jadwal yang molor. Hampir setiap pulang-pergi Semarang-Jakarta via kereta, naik Argo Sindoro ada aja deh kendalanya.
Berikut akan saia bagikan tip & trik bagi yang mau/belum pernah naik kereta khususnya eksekutif:
1. Pesen satu bulan sebelum tanggal keberangkatan.
2. Pantau jadwal keberangkatan kereta via Web KAI
3. Pesen via telephon (henpun) call center di nomor 13897, dapet kode boking.
4. Bayar via ATM Mandiri, simpen struk
5. Tuker struk ATM dengan tiket KA (bisa beberapa saat sebelum keberangkatan)
6. Siapkan jaket dan kaos kaki persiapan kalo ACnya terlalu dingin.

Satu lagi, bawalah makanan sendiri karena makanan di kereta “kurang bagus” seperti di pesawat, atau bisa juga pesen di restoran kereta dengan membayar agak lebih mahal dari harga umum. Apalagi mulai 1 Agustus, fasilitas makan gratis di kereta akan ditiadakan, dengan konsekuensi harga tiket turun (entah berapa persen).

Saia pernah juga naik kereta eksekutif jurusan Jakarta-Kutoarjo (Kerete Sawunggalih), disini satu kereta dibagi dua kelas, bisnis dan eksekutif dan hanya dibedakan gerbongnya. nah tempat duduk untuk eksekutif ini benar-benar sudah usang, dan berkutu, jadi ya maap-maap saja bagi yang terbiasa memperhatikan kebersihan akan sedikit terganggu, apalagi ditambah AC yang kurang dingin.

Sejak Cawang/UKI ditutup untuk bus-bus antar kota dan semua transit penumpang dipindahkan ke Terminal Kampung Rambutan, kemarin saya berangkat dari Jakarta Pusat ke Purwakarta ditempuh salam waktu 4 jam.

Berangkat dari Sarinah jam 10 pagi, nunggu sebentar untuk cari metromini atau kopaja Tanah Abang-Kampung Rambutan tidak dateng-dateng juga. Akhirnya jam 11 memutuskan  untuk naik Busway, disamping ngadem, bersih dan anti macet, secara hari itu ada kampanye putaran terakhir SBY-Budiyono di Gelora Bung Karno tentunya jalanan dijamin macet.

Kalau naik busway dari Sarinah mau ke Kampung Rambutan harus transit beberapa kali; di Dukuh Atas, Matraman, dan Kampung Melayu, baru ke Kampung Rambutan, karena tidak bisa lagi turun di UKI . Paling menyebalkan adalah jalan dari Kampung Melayu ke Kampung Rambutan, lewat pasar Kramat Jati yang crowded, menyebabkan jalannya busway lelet dan empot-empotan kayak uler, sampai di Terminal jam 1 siang, wat de hell? 2 jam hanya untuk sampai terminal?

Pulangnya juga sama, malah lebih parah, menunggu busway di halte Kampung Rambutan aja setengah jam lebih baru dateng, trus jalan lewat pasar kramat jati semrawut buanget deh, pol-pol itu buswe’ jalan 20km/jam, pas di Halte Kampung Melayu nunggu tuh Buswe’ suk sampai 1 jam. Sampai-sampai ada bapak-bapak disebelahku uring-uringan emosi sendiri.

Buat kalian-kalian yang nyari kerjaan atawa tempat cari makan kalo bisa jangan di Jakarta deh, kota semrawut dijamin bikin stress. Apalagi ditambah harga kebutuhan dan properties selangit tak terjangkau akal manusia yang bergaji standar dan stagnan.
Dinegara-negara lain, ibu kota dibangun sedemikian rupa agar nyaman disinggahi dan ditempati, karena ibu kota adalah “wajah” meet & great lah istilahnya, yang pertama dilihat oleh turis-turis asing, sehingga memiliki kesan baik. Tapi di Jakarta jauh dari itu, bukanya perbaikan malah semakin parah.

Ironis, di pedesaan suasana asri, sejuk, airnya jernih dan tenang tapi harga tanah & properties murah meriah. Di jakarta, udah sumpek, macet, kotor, bising, macet, tapi harga tanah dan properties tak terjangkau akal manuasia bergaji standar seperti saya.
